R. Stevenson & D. Cater Scholarships
Stevenson Scholarship is open to undergraduate members of the first United Methodist Church of St. Cloud. Cater Scholarship is open to members of the Minnesota United Methodist Conference who are entering the sophomore year or higher of college work.

Rebekah Assembly of Vermont Nursing Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to residents of Vermont interested in working on a degree in nursing.

Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals New Investigators Research Grants
To provide funding to new researchers interested in exploring oncology nursing.

To encourage nurses who are novice researchers to conduct research on topics related to rehabilitation nursing.

To provide funding to graduate students and professionals interested in conducting research on topics related to rehabilitation nursing.

RNs Obtaining a Baccalaureate Degree Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to RNs in Oregon who are working on a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Robert Browning Scholarship
To provide financial assistance for undergraduate study in the health sciences to gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender students who live in the Northwest.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.
Duration: 1 year; recipients may reapply.

Robert Luckie Family Endowed Nursing Scholarship
Established with funds received from Mr. Robert Luckie to enable deserving nursing students attending the University of Alabama School of Nursing at UAB realize their dream of receiving a quality education. Criteria: admission to or current enrollment in a degree-seeking program in the School of Nursing at UAB, a cumulative GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0, a preference given to students who are citizens of Alabama or who express a desire to work in Alabama following graduation and demonstrate financial need as determined by the UAB Office of Financial Aid. The School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs announces application deadline and procedures.

Robert Luckie Family Endowed Nursing Scholarship

Roberta Pierce Scofielt Bachelor's Scholarship
Applicant must be an R.N. with an interest in and a commitment to oncology nursing.
Deadline: February of each year.

Roberta Scofield Memorial Certification Award
Applicant must demonstrate a dedication to oncology nursing and a commitment to obtaining or renewing oncology nursing certification.
Deadline: December of each year.

Roche Laboratories Distinguished Service Award
To recognize and reward the outstanding contributions of oncology nurses to the ONS.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.

Ron Brady Memorial Award for Excellence in Volunteer Leadership
To recognize and reward members of ANNA who have made outstanding contributions to the organization.

Rosemary Berkel Crisp Research Award
To provide funding for clinically-oriented nursing research to members of Sigma Theta Tau International.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.

Rosemary Berkel CrispRosemary Berkel Crisp Research Award (one of the STTI small Grants)
Award is to support nursing research in the critical areas of women's health, oncology, and infant/child care. Applicant must have a master's degree or higher and be a registerd nurse with a current license. Applicant must be a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. Some preference given to Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee residents.
Deadline: December of each year.

Rosewood Family Scholarship Fund
Renewable award for eligible minority students to attend a Florida public post-secondary institution on a full-time-basis. Preference given to direct descendants of African-American Rosewood families affected by the incidents of January 1923. Must be black, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific Islander, American Indian, or Alaska native. Deadlines: Application due April 1; Free Application for Federal Student Aid (and Student Aid Report for nonresidents of Florida) must be processed by May 15.
Duration: 1 year.

Ross Memorial Research Grants
To provide funding to members of NAON who wish to conduct a research project.
Duration: From 1 to 3 years.

Ross Products Excellence in Cancer Nursing Education Award
To recognize and reward excellence in cancer nursing education on the part of members of ONS.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.
Duration: Annually.
Deadline: August of each year.

Ross Products-AACN Pioneering Spirit Award
To recognize and reward individuals and groups who have contributed to acute and critical care nursing.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.
Duration: Annually.
Deadline: Nominations by peers and colleagues must be submitted by the end of August of each year. Applications must be submitted by the end of October of each year.

Roxane Laboratories Linda Arenth Excellence in Cancer Nursing Management Award
To recognize and reward excellence in cancer nursing management/administration by members of ONS.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.
Duration: Annually.

Rudolph and Fannie Susman Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Ruth Finamore Scholarship Fund
To qualify for an FNF scholarship, your must be admitted and enrolled in an accredited State of Florida nursing program. Eligible students include those in associate, baccalaureate, and or Master's programs. You must also be a resident of Florida at least on year.
Duration: 1 year.
Deadline: June of each year.

Ruth P. Shumaker Scholarship
Established in 1999 by Advanced Sterilization Products in honor of AORN President Ruth P. Shumaker to support an AORN member pursuing a Bachelor's degree. RN Applicants shall be a member of AORN in good standing. Membership must be maintained continuously for 12 months prior to the June 30th application deadline and throughout the funding period. Membership is considered lapsed if full dues are not received at AORN Headquarters by the last day of the renewal month. A cumulative 3.0 GPA average is required and must be maintained for RN members. Student nurse applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrollment in a NLNAC or CCNE program at an accredited institution. RN member nurses must be enrolled in an appropriate accredited institution for higher education. Applicant is responsible for submitting all materials, including application form, transcripts, resume or CV, personal statement and three letters of endorsement.
Duration: 1 year.
